Sahara Forum: A successful first edition bringing together innovation, collaboration, and reservoir analysis excellence
On Friday, November 28th, we held the first edition of Sahara Forum, an event that brought our community of users together for a full day dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and the technological evolution of reservoir analysis within the Oil & Gas industry.
The forum created a unique space to learn, exchange ideas, and explore new workflows, integrating real field practices with the latest features developed within Sahara.
Throughout the day, attendees participated in:
- Presentations on new functionalities, designed to simplify workflows and unify tools into a single environment.
- Integrated end-to-end workflows, showcasing how Sahara centralizes analysis and visualization.
- Real case studies, presented by our development team and by professionals from leading companies in the sector.
A highlight of the event was the participation of guest companies who presented their own case studies and insights using Sahara.
We extend our special thanks to:
- GeoInnovar, represented by Roberto Cidale, for sharing his insights on the integration of 3D static models.
- GiGa Consulting, through the presentation of Alfredo García, who discussed agile analytical modeling in mature fields.
- VYP Consultores SA, with Fernando Tuero, who presented intelligent workover prioritization.
- IFM-SOLUTIONS, represented by Santiago Salvia, for contributing with his perspective on the synergy between Sahara and PETEX.
Their presentations brought valuable perspectives and demonstrated the versatility of Sahara across different operational environments.
The Sahara Forum was a day full of questions, conversations, and opportunities. The high level of engagement from the attendees reflects the importance of fostering spaces that strengthen our technical community and promote the adoption of advanced tools in reservoir evaluation.
This event marks just the beginning. Our commitment is to continue developing solutions that grow alongside our user community, driving technological evolution and enabling increasingly powerful and integrated workflows.
We thank everyone who joined us for this first edition, and we look forward to future initiatives and opportunities to continue learning together.
